CAMP!!!!!!!!

On the 27th of November Te Maunga and Te Moana went to camp and lots of adults came with us. We did a whole bunch of activities! we went on water slide,we did confidence course, slippery hockey, volleyball and kayaking. The camp is called Coopers Beach Christian Youth Camp. My favorite activity was water slide because it was so slippery and fast. When you go on the water slide in threes or  fives you hit the red bean bag. On the second night we had a disco. We had loud music and we even had...GLOW STICKS!!!! They were so much fun!  We had lots of songs that was on twice! On the first night we played spotlight! Silence Obleck

Te Ngahere, Te Awa, Te Maunga and Te Moana has been doing science in this week it has been fun and today we were with Whaea Becks and we made Obleck . The things we need was: Corn flower, food coloring and water. first we had corn flower and we put the food coloring in and it went all sogey

For the birds writing

In Te Maunga we have been trying to write a story about for the birds. We had to pretend that we were one of the birds and I was the first bird to get to the power line.I think I did well on putting talking in the writing. What I could do better I could put more past  tense in my story. Here is my story hope you like it. please comment?

As I was flying I had some of my brothers following me so we had a fight  and we  could not stop. But we heard  strange noise it was a tall as bird it asked: ‘can’’ ‘I’’ ‘play ‘with’ ‘you’’? I Asked.  But they said  No!! Play with someone else you frizzy momp!!!!!!!!! I thought they liked me so I tried to talk to them but they ignored me. After that I tried to think what to do next and I had the right thing I said to myself ‘I’ ‘can’ sneak and scare them so they can laugh at me!!!! But they snapped me creeping  to play with  me. So they grabbed me and tried to kick me off the power line and the birds said ‘Do  it ‘do’ ‘it’ ‘do’!!!! But the big tall bird just laughed and laughed and laughed.  So they took my two feet  off and I hit  my head on the dirty ground. The big bird said: YOU WILL PAY FOR “THAT!!!!!!!” SILLY BABY BIRDS!!!!!!! I was super super angry. I zoomed back to my little box and I felt  angry and sad. My tears came down slow like the clouds.

My hoe reflection

In Te Maunga we have been doing our four hoes and we had to tell how we use them. I think I did well on writing and paragraphs. What I could do better is putting more Information and spelling Hope you like my hoe reflection please comment and like it.

I use my Whanaugatanga by helping people when they are hurt or when they are upset or I give compliments. Or when they are stuck on something.

I use my Manaakitanga by respecting my teacher and I use my manakitanga by respecting mum and dad.

I use my kaha when it is my first time at school or when I am hurt or hen I am in trouble Ibe strong and not crying.

I use my tu maia by never giving up when I was doing my Te Reo presentation I use my Tu Maia by never giving up by doing my best on any other work.
