Waitangi treaty grounds recount

In Te Maunga we have been learning to write a recount and we had to talk about our day. I think I did well on putting detail and paragraphs in my story.What I need to do better is I need to
put more punctuation in my story so t sounds better. Hope you like my story please comment and  like it.Here it is

“Woohoo!!!!!” The day came on Tuesday we went to waitangi treaty grounds. First we  lined up and then we started to  walk to waitangi. Then when we  got there  we got stickers and the lady told us what we had to do.

We walked   through the corridor   until we got to the tent and the man introduced us to the lady’s. Some  of us went to different activities.

The first game we played was the keti game with a shaky shell and I was first. I had a Yellow blindfolded  and a shaky keti I could hear the Keti shells shaking. I could feel the other person and I could hear people cheering for me.

Then we played Maui and Mato.The lady was called Briana There was some small rops to jump over. I could here Briana saying the words.

 After that we did some planting I could hear the birds chirping and I could smell Fresh air. Me and  Dayton did a tall tree Together.

Then my group went to did  some weaving We only got 20 minutes to do it we did not finish, I could hear people asking for help.

Moving To Paihia

I am  Ataahua and I am new to Te Maunga a class in Paihia School. We have been learning how to write a  recount. Because i'm new to this school I wrote a recount about when I moved up here. Next time I will do paragraphs.  Here  is my recount underneath. ↓

First of all  we packed the car with a little bit of stuff  and then we went to McDonalds to get some dinner. We got hamburgers. After that we had a sleep  for half an hour while we were driving, my sister and I went to sleep.
the When I woke  up we  were there in Paihia and it took 2 minutes to get to the motel. Our number was 217. I had a great trip. I felt happy  but I was cold. On Monday it was my first day at Paihia school my teacher is called  Whaea Becks and the principal is called Mrs Lindsay. They are both pretty. When I walked  into my class my mum came with me and so did my sister and brother. We had an assembly and the whole school came. We did our karakia and a waiata. After that the assembly finished so my mum stayed there and talked to teachers. My sister came with my class and  she sat on the mat, she was funny. We waited for my mum to come, she took a long time. I could not come to school last week because i had tonsillitis. It was  really sore when I swallowed but it's not sore now. My tonsils  were really fat and big. Next, when my mum left  we did our learning plan. I had a piece of paper but I did not have a chromebook yet. Then Mrs Lindsay came to help me log into my chromebook . But I 7uhad no work to do in my chromebook yet. .After that the principal  went to her office  and the teacher showed me our blog Te Maunga . I made some new friends and I meet some new teachers. Later on it was morning tea i had a orange and a cookie. I had a great  day at Paihia school  my teacher was nice and the principal was nice. At the end the bell rang and it was home time my mum took a long time to come and pick me up I thought i had to walk home i was nervous. I felt happy and excited.
